WE HELP YOU DIG FOR CRYSTALS & TEACH YOU ABOUT MINING THE ENTIRE TIME
What really sets this experience apart from most mine pay digs is that you get at least 30+ years of mining experience there by your side through out the entire dig. We will help teach you about the rock and ground you are working around and with and help give you techniques that you can bring with you into future digs. We do our best to not only make this a digging experience but an educational experience as well. We want people to get the best extraction and education in one or two days possible.
CAMPING OR HELP FINDING DISCOUNTED LODGING
For all of our packages we want people to have the option of feeling like they can be close by. If they decide not to camp on the grounds overnight or for the weekend we will makes sure we are there where they do pick lodging in the morning(s) to escort them to the mining location.
WE PROVIDE ALL TOOLS NEEDED FOR EACH DIG AND TEACH YOU HOW TO CLEAN YOUR CRYSTALS
We make sure we have the correct equipment at each dig site to extract the most crystals for you while maintaining the quality of extraction. You will have gloves and eye protection as well as a set of tools needed for you to properly dig the site we are at. We do mine by hand or using hand tools and avoid using heavy machinery at dig sites. We only use the big machines to clear out the pits or expose new digging ledges and spaces.
After digging we also help you with basic cleaning techniques and tips so that you can feel confident cleaning the rest of your crystals at home. After the dig we will help teach you basic cleaning education on some specimens. For top-tier packages we will do a laboratory cleaning of all of your crystals you extract. For all prior packages laboratory cleaning is available upon request for an additional fee. ( For Herkimers we will reconstruct instead of lab clean the crystals since they come out fairly clean )
WE WILL FEED YOU AND TRANSPORT YOU
We will make sure to have snacks and water at every dig. Depending on the package you will be able to have a BBQ at the mine while digging or restaurants that are local favorites after each dig. No matter what no one will be without a snack and beverage.
We also provide transportation to and from the mining sites. We will pick you up from where you are staying and at the end of the day drop you back off.
WHAT A PREMIER MINING EXPERIENCE ENTAILS
THE HERKIMER DIAMOND DIG " HIDDEN GEM " MINE
In Herkimer you can expect to get into a beautiful private mine. It will be just you and one or two of our team members that are there to help. They will help guide you, help move larger rocks and help teach you about digging techniques that you can bring with you in the future for other digs. They will help show you how to remove fickle crystals that need a little finesse and make sure you have the least amount of mining damage possible. There will be food and snacks available and all the mining equipment that you would need. We avoid using heavy machinery except when exposing new ledge or clearing out the pit.
After the dig we will make sure you get a nice warm meal in your belly. Depending on the package multiple meals will be included.
We also make sure you get to the dig site by meeting you and picking you up for transport.
This location offers camping on private land of 50+ acres and time at a waterfall.
For top-tier packages we will do a laboratory cleaning of all of your crystals you extract. For Herkimers this is needed less often. In this case we will provide reconstruction options instead for clusters and chains. For all prior packages laboratory cleaning ( reconstruction for Herkimer ) is available upon request for an additional fee.
THE JUNIPER LODE NEVADA DIG
At the Nevada site The only people in the mine will be you and the members of our team helping you dig. It is a classic southwestern view with rolling hills, sparse trees and arid climate. The goal of this mine experience to expose and dig clusters and individual crystals of amethyst quartz, without causing them damage in the process. We will meet you in the town of West wendover in the morning and drive you less than an hour to the site unless you have a high clearance vehicle and would like to follow us to the site.
This site offers an option of rustic camping with a campfire, cookout, and outhouse depending on your package.
The other option is a comfortable hotel in town.
Our team will help you expose veins of crystals wrap them and package them up for transport. We assure you will leave with plenty of crystals from this location.
This is one of the few amethyst locations available for digging in North America, and we're thrilled to be able to offer it to you for this experience.

DIGGING IN ARKANSAS
Digging Arkansas quartz is a unique experience where crystals are prolific and you're able to pull out crystals of all sizes in major quantity. Here in Arkansas we will make sure we help you find crystals of all quality with a focus on finding and spending time extracting the best ones we come across. We will teach you how to dig this particular environment and help you with the cleaning process and teach you a little about how it works. We hope to have you leaving with tons of crystals from this location.
