We provide a range of mining equipment including sledgehammers / rock hammers, steel wedges, chisels and eye protection. Gloves will be available for each dig. 

Yes, we offer payment plans for our excursion packages and dig packages. Please contact us for more details.

Difficulty is determined by a number of factors. We often consider things like climate of the area / difficulty accessing the mine and dig site / difficulty of extracting crystals and host rock / time spent to get into crystal bearing pockets / bugs, pests and wildlife  and overall outdoor experience, physical limitations considered. If you have any questions or concerns about difficulty please feel free to reach out to us and we can explain more about this system. 

Yes. We will have water and snacks on site for you. If you have any special dietary needs please bring your own snacks or drinks.

Unfortunately yes. There is a chance that anyone who does one of the digging experiences might have mild to moderate injury. We are there to monitor and teach proper mining and digging techniques and we will give you advice on limiting the chances of injury so you can take that knowledge with you in the future. 

Children can attend if previously arranged via email. We discourage attendance of children only due to liability during the digging excursion but if arrangements can be made with us prior we will accommodate. 

We recommend a travel pack or backpack on you for each dig. Some of the basics we would include is sunscreen, hat, insect spray, snacks, plastic baggies for your crystal finds, water bottle, any needed medications plus extra for emergency, back up charger for phone if you plan on doing filming etc.

Please consider including anything else you think you might need that you can carry without the weight being too heavy. Some of these trails are a short walk but some are more lengthy and you do not want to be left holding too much weight.  

Leave room for your crystal finds! 

Yes. Part of why we are a premier mining experience is that we will be there side by side with you to help educate you on the best way to remove the crystals with the least amount of damage as possible. 

At most of our locations we do have a washing station that we will set up. This area will be a place to wash and see your crystal finds as we explain basic cleaning methods for the material. 

Yes. If you end up not wanting to give away or share any of your beautiful finds you are able to purchase crystals from each mining location at the end of each dig so you have a variety to bring home that you are not as emotionally connected to.
